Project Life Last page of January..Yay!!

Hi!! Um...is there anyone still out there? lol!! If you are reading this, give me a shout so I know if I am just talking to myself of not! haaa!!
So I am super excited! I finally finished January in my Project Life album! Yay! I am so happy, because I got my IPhone in Febuary, so I have way more pictures...it should be a lot easier for my from here on out! =)
The last page for January is about sledding on the base. Lackland AFB trucked in thousands of pounds of 'snow' for the kids to sled down and play in. It was in the 70's, because we live in south Texas, so it turned slushy pretty quickly...but the kids still had fun. We got there super early, because we were still homeschooling--sooo glad because we were at the front of the line...and the line was HUGE!!
Here are some close ups of the inserts:
I am so excited to get started on February!! Thanks for stopping by!!! =)

Project Life January 2012...still...

Hey!! I am so super proud of myself! I have now finished all of January in my Project Life Album! I haven't gotten pictures of the last page yet, but I do have some more to share. Remember that you can find the Project Life products that I use in my side bar! ;)
Here is the spread that I finished, you have already seen the page on the left...but the right is new! =)
This page was a little tricky, because in January I didn't even know about Project Life, I didn't have my IPhone yet, and I wasn't keeping track of anything....ACCEPT on FaceBook. Thank Heavens for FaceBook!! I went through all my posts from January and it helped me remember stuff that I wanted to add to my album. Good thing I am so good about posting absolutely everything over there! haaa!!!
The tags that I pre-made have came in SO handy! It makes the whole process so much quicker! Here is the page...it is a total mish mash of everything that I could think of that I wanted included in my album...
I have added the dates to everything even though they are so not in order...that is what I love about Project Life...there are no rules, you can do whatever you want! And it still works!
I have some closeups for you so you can see a bit better...
Here is our sweet kitty, Little Jimmy. The poor thing is Calista's favorite doll! He gets dressed up and toted around all the time...such a good sport!
My silly kitties, Pedro and Wally. I thought this was hilarious when I found them in my chair...Pedro had himself all tucked in under Curt's Broncos blanket!
Here I jotted down some of the things that we did, or took place in January...then there is a picture of Brayden and Tori sporting some beanies that they got for Christmas.
We are big WWE fans in our house, and we were super excited when Chris Jericho came back to Monday Night Raw..so had to include that! Then I have a couple of FB posts that I made on my birthday...I was super sick, so there are no pictures or anything.
This was fun...I went through my FB wall and copied all my posts from January, printed them out and then put them in this little envelope.
Lastly I have another picture of poor Little Jimmy dressed up like a princess, laying on top of my HomeSchool planning. Then I have a sweet FB post from my hubby. =)
I sure hope that some of you have started your albums!! If so...link me up so I can see!!
The Project Life items that I used here are:
Photo Pocket Pages- Big Pack of Design A
Black Signature Binder

Have a great weekend!!!!

Project Life 2012

Hi!! Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I updated this!! We did move a couple months ago..so I will blame it on that! I finally started my Project Life Album...it took me FOREVER to get started, but when I finally just started cutting and gluing it started to come together pretty fast. I have decided that I am going to do my pages by month instead of by week, just because I am so far behind, and I wasn't taking very many pictures at the first of the year.
I have been doing a lot of blog hopping getting ideas, and getting inspired. One of my favorite Project Life scrappers is Michelle Wooderson...she is amazing!!
One of the things that she does is make a bunch of the 3x4 inserts ahead of time, I took her advise and gave it a shot...wow it made the whole process go so much faster!! Here are some of the tags that I made...
It is so fun! Once I started I couldn't stop! I absolutely loved Cocoa Daisy's last kit "Note to Self", it had so many fun "office-type" supplies in it.
Anyhoo!! Here is the title page for my album:
And here is a close up:
I tried and tried to get good pictures of my album....I just can't!!! Grrr!! Any advise on how to get a good picture without glare?
I bought Becky Higgins awesome page protectors on Amazon. I chose the style "A" you can get them HERE. I also bought her black binder because I didn't want to have to deal with finding an album that would fit the page protectors and I didn't want to deal with an album with 'posts'.
I have a few more things on my wish list, plus she is releasing a bunch of new page protectors today.
Here are the first two pages of my album..
I had originally planned on the page on the right to be my first page, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that the page protector only opens on one side (the front), so if you have a tab or something hanging out from the protector it won't work on the back side...if that makes sense? lol
The first page I just ended up putting in some pictures of my kids , then on the top I listed their names and ages.
We had Ben here visiting us for a couple weeks, so we took lots of pictures. =)
The second page I did is of Calista's Baptism, which was the first week of January...

I totally hate my handwriting...but until I can find me a typewriter it is all I have. =)
The third page of my album is actually from the same day. Curt and his mom took the kids to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. I was super sick, and was happy that I was feeling good for Calista's baptism.
and some closeups...once again sorry the pictures suck...

Well that is all I have for now!! Who else is doing Project Life?????

My Little Kojack

Hi everyone...um..is there anyone still there? LOL!
So I am finally getting ready to start scrappin again! Are any of you doing the Project Life? I have been busy collecting stuff so I can start. I am really excited! Of course I have been slacking with my picture taking, one of the many things that I need to work on...
So on Tuesday we had to take our little rat, Kojack, in for surgery. He had a tumor growing on his tummy that had to be removed. It has been a chore taking care of the little guy. He has one of those lamp shade things on, so he won't mess with his stitches...and he hates it! He can't feed himself because he can't reach his mouth. He looks like an alligator trying to walk. Curt and Kyle took him back to the vet this this morning because his incision was getting infected. They cleaned it out and gave us some antibiotic cream for it...(why didn't they give us that in the first place?) He has to wear the cone until at least Monday. The stitches come out in next Friday.  AND he has to be separated from his friend, Ozzy, until they come out! =(
Anywho..here is my little guy with his lamp shade on..

He is a hairless rat...they didn't shave him..lol. Poor little guy!!!
Well I will be back soon...gonna get some scrapping done!!! Yay!!
