Hi!! Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I updated this!! We did move a couple months ago..so I will blame it on that! I finally started my Project Life Album...it took me FOREVER to get started, but when I finally just started cutting and gluing it started to come together pretty fast. I have decided that I am going to do my pages by month instead of by week, just because I am so far behind, and I wasn't taking very many pictures at the first of the year.
I have been doing a lot of blog hopping getting ideas, and getting inspired. One of my favorite Project Life scrappers is Michelle Wooderson...she is amazing!!
One of the things that she does is make a bunch of the 3x4 inserts ahead of time, I took her advise and gave it a shot...wow it made the whole process go so much faster!! Here are some of the tags that I made...
It is so fun! Once I started I couldn't stop! I absolutely loved Cocoa Daisy's last kit "Note to Self", it had so many fun "office-type" supplies in it.
Anyhoo!! Here is the title page for my album:
And here is a close up:
I tried and tried to get good pictures of my album....I just can't!!! Grrr!! Any advise on how to get a good picture without glare?
I bought Becky Higgins awesome page protectors on Amazon. I chose the style "A" you can get them HERE. I also bought her black binder because I didn't want to have to deal with finding an album that would fit the page protectors and I didn't want to deal with an album with 'posts'.
I have a few more things on my wish list, plus she is releasing a bunch of new page protectors today.
Here are the first two pages of my album..
I had originally planned on the page on the right to be my first page, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that the page protector only opens on one side (the front), so if you have a tab or something hanging out from the protector it won't work on the back side...if that makes sense? lol
The first page I just ended up putting in some pictures of my kids , then on the top I listed their names and ages.
We had Ben here visiting us for a couple weeks, so we took lots of pictures. =)
The second page I did is of Calista's Baptism, which was the first week of January...
I totally hate my handwriting...but until I can find me a typewriter it is all I have. =)
The third page of my album is actually from the same day. Curt and his mom took the kids to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. I was super sick, and was happy that I was feeling good for Calista's baptism.
and some closeups...once again sorry the pictures suck...
Well that is all I have for now!! Who else is doing Project Life?????

Wow this is a great idea... I will check out Michelle Wooderson blog and start something like this too. My scrapping style is a lot like you have done here in your Project Life album. I got so burnt out and let life get me away from my creative passion in digital scrapping. It is much easier for me to scrap for others than myself...LOL. But I love what you are doing here and great to see you blogging again. I miss blog hoppin... since Facebook came along alot of people have not be blogging, but you have always been a great inspiration to me and love your love for your family...YOU go girl. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you so much girl!!!!! (((hugs))) You know that I LOVE your scrapping style!!!
